If not at this spot, how far from Ground Zero would you propose that the Governmnet permit this mosque to be built?
How about at least not at Ground Zero? This building was apart of it and was hit.
And of course how about not associated with all of the other exact signatures of being a poke in the eye being that it is a super mosque (13 story) with an observation floor to view Ground Zero (for terrorists to gloat) and have it planned to be even opened on the ten year anniversery as well by an Imam that thinks America is mor eat fault in the war on terror then Al Quida.
It is a provocation. Just like in many other circumstances the 1st Amendment does not give you the right to put public safety at risk or use your rights to invoke violence against the rights of others this victory mosque should be stopped because it is a direct provocation against those who are still mourning the loss of their loved ones that are still even suffering today.
Besides when did I say that the government should not permit it?
We all have freedom of speech and they should be pressured and/or persuaded to move it by all government officials and all people in my opinion. Those who think otherwise are blind to how much of a provocation this is. I do believe that there will blood boiling if they try to build this.
And I also believe that the majority of those who argue about their ‘right to build it’ are shallow being that most of them have supported the violation of Americans rights in driving Christianity out of the public square.
They are also shallow because most of them have already been fighting for phoney terrorist rights in callign for the closing of Gitmo and civilian trials for terrorists and a host of other phoney rights.
If you want to join the phoney rights crowd then fine but this mosque will not be built without a there being massive resistence, it will create a divide in America that is worst and will severley damage relations between muslems and the rest of America. It most likely will lead to bloodshed.
