Democrat-Republican is obvious, but this new drive for “libertarianism”, “fiscal conservatism only” “call a truce on social conservatism until we solve our problems”, etc, is the marriage of a blatant “left wing, anti-social conservatism/anti-religion, economics only” fifth column with the old “indifferent to social concerns, economic only” Rockefeller/Romney wing of the GOP.
