Most people dont think that disqualifies someone from serving in Congress.
People can think whatever they want about his actions in Iraq.
IMHO, his military service is irrelevant.
The more troubling issue is that he's just another Goldman-Sachs sockpuppet,
willing to sell his soul on the global market.

What issue- what you say is untrue. I know the man, you couldn’t be farther off-base, or from the truth. Sockpuppet my ass.
I have spoken.

It would be nice, instead of posting a baseless accusation, that you would prove the necessary proof so that your post isn't just a worthless statement of your opinion.

Ilario served in the USMC after high school, he entered the film business in NYC afterward, starting at the bottom. He attended NYU, getting a degree in finance/economics(check me on his major), then worked at Goldman Sachs, married, started a film production company, then re-entered the USMC after 9-11, and served as an officer in Iraq.
He worked in the financial sector- big deal.
He made documentary-type films.
He served his country twice, honorably.

I have not seen any evidence that he is connected with Wall Street or Goldman Sachs
From Wikipedia:
Following his return to civilian life, Pantano earned an economics degree from New York University. He worked as an energy trader for Goldman Sachs. From 1995 - 1998, he was a member of the start-up team that integrated top-tier investment bank culture(GS) with utility business (BG&E) in Constellation Power, an electricity trading joint venture that was acquired for $11 billion by FPL.
Like I said, another G/S flying monkey "too big to fail".
and his Military service is not irrelevant
As far as being "qualified" for holding office, yes it is.
To: Willie Green
I did a quick search and opened up the Wikipedia search. I did not see the paragraph that stated that he was a energy trader for Goldman Sachs. I did another search and found it on a different source. I went then back to the Wikepedia page that I still had open and I found it then.
You notice it says he worked as an energy trader from 1995 to 1998. That was 12 years ago. We have 2010 now Dude. and since when is it a crime to be Wall Street trader?
Also it says that he he was a member of the start-up team.
You know there is a difference between is a was, don't you? And again what crime is there in having or being a member of a start-up team for an investment bank culture?

Apparently, there is greater honor among Marines than among career politicians. There is greater honor among the residents of San Quentin than there is among career politicians.

You should repost that, underlining the parts that are illegal, immoral or unethical.
If you can.

Are you saying his military service disqualifies him from holding office?
Are all with military service in their background disqualified from holding office, or just him?
If “just him”, what is it about his service that disqualifies him?
