I don't understand CBS. Surely they realize that the true numbers will come out and that they will end up looking stupid, petty and biased with their low ball numbers.

The true numbers will come out on the Internet - I doubt the MSM will report them... CBS's lies will hold for those who don't use the Internet.

However, all those in attendance and all the people that THEY know via work, neighbors, extended family, friends, facebook, will also know that the network numbers are lies. This sort of thing makes them lose even more credibility than they already have lost. If they lie about one thing then people know that anything they say may or may not be true. When you lie in an obvious way it contaminates anything you wish to communicate truthfully.

The problem with that is that most everyone who does not use the internet does know someone who does. I have already “enlightend” several. If we all do that truth will get out.
