In pictures: Washington conservative rally
Apparently this photo was shot by a BBC photographer from atop the Washington Monument.

"The speaker list was diverse, including African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans; Jews and Christians; clergymen, military veterans and sports stars, including Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals. The crowd, however, was overwhelmingly white."
Wait a cotton-pickin' minute.
Isn't that exactly the same number they used for the 9/12 march?
RE: 9/12 "The Washington Metro reported 87,000 extra riders that day as compared to the average ridership."
Yep. They make it up as they go along.
This one is my favorite:
Tens of thousands of people have attended a rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, which organisers say is aimed at staging a political tribute to traditional American values.
I call BS on that. Not one organizer said that. They specifically said it was not political (thus no signs).
That’s something to behold. Wow!
I was at the rally today. I arrived at 7:30am and by that time, both sides of the Reflecting Pool were filled. I was located at the opposite end of the Reflecting Pool, from the stage, right in the center.
From 7:30am-10:00am, as I looked back at the Washington monument, it was a steady stream of people, at least 5 wide, on the sidewalks. These people filled the spaces under the trees on both sides, as well as the areas beyond the trees, to the left and right side.
Once these areas were filled, people started to fill the Washington monument grassy area. This was still going on, after the event started. As the event continued, the area around the Washington monument, was still filling with people.
The overhead picture by the BBC does not even show the full extent of the people there. I would bet my life, that there were, at least, 500,000 people there, if not, 750,000.
Beck mentioned that both sides of the Reflecting Pool held 200,000 people, the two areas next to Lincoln’s Memorial, which were packed, held another 150,000 or 250,000, don’t quite remember that number. These numbers do not include the people under the trees and to the left and right of them, and the people on the Washington monument area.
It was a great time and am glad I was able to attend. For those wondering if we continued our habit of keeping the area clean, we did just that. Only a couple of water bottle caps, misc. paper, and worn out grass. The trash cans were overflowing but the items around them were in bags and neat.
There were no signs, except flags. People were patient, understanding, and courteous, even with the heat and congestion. The security personnel, had an easy day.
You are joking, right?
No joke, O’Reilly and Beck made a bet, O’Reilly said 10,000 to 20,000 and bet said 100,000. Bill O said if you get that much you should have the 8 o’clock slot...............time will tell
Oh my, what WONDERFUL shots!! Thank you so very much!!
Sorry, Red. You may not have wanted there to be that many people there, but there were!

I want to see a photo post-crowds to see how clean the patriots left it so we can compare it to the inagural trashy slobs
300,000, 500,000, whatever. It was significant, and the point was made. Conservatives don’t riot, they assemble.
Take a look at Beck’s index card on second slide. Smiley face...Sarah Palin...so cute!

Nice! Thanks GVnana!
Hey! Nice work spotting that! I’d love to have a close-up!
Yeah, I went and looked at it, lol.
Bill’s got some ego doesn’t he? Bill couldn’t get 50k and he knows it.
