Since most of our elected Republicans are surrounded by left-wing staff in Washington, they are most anxious to get back to letting their staffers and the Democrats run the country while they make deals. They don't need to win a majority to succeed, actually prefer not to, but just feel they need a stronger hand in the endless DC poker game.
The day-to-day business of government is firmly in Left-Wing hands, has been for decades. No Dark Wings need apply ... and don't look to a Republican for help.
