They picked this weekend to close down I-66 EASTBOUND DOWN TO ONE LANE. I don’t think it was a coincidence. I’m about to head to Reston from alexandria and I will have to take the streets and stay off the beltway, I-66, 267 because of the traffic. It is stalled.
No kidding, they’ve had the signs up all week warning about the lane closures this weekend. Since it’s not raining now, you might want to try cutting thru Annandale on Edsel and Gallows then take Cottage, Lawyers and Hunter Mill thru Vienna to Reston.
Sounds like a good time to spend a few hours at the Air and Space museum until the traffic thins
