Rush is to shy to do something like this. He didn't even like having his own TV show.
Rush is doing his part with the millions that listen to him each day, he doesn’t need a big event.

Too shy? Apparently you forget or are not aware of Dan's Bake Sale -- Rush didn't organize *something like this* because it wasn't politics.
His dislike for doing his TV show had nothing to do with shyness either, that was about what was required from him in order to produce a daily half-hour.
