Is the Metro running a reduced weekend schedule to frustrate the attendees?
No, they’re running a reduced weekend schedule so they can save money and work on tracks. Frustrating Conservatives is a side benefit.

According to the NYTimes covverage, there shouldn’t be any problem at all. They posted this story 12 minutes ago, saying that ‘tens of thousands’ attended:

As you can see, they accompanied the story with a photo of all of 11 people from earlier this morning. (This thread shows the actual crowd that was already there at 6:30 AM.) I also clicked through on their link for live coverage, but they had just Sharpton’s rally there instead, which the MSNBC feed had plugged as “massive”.
