Thanks for the pics. How were you able to get up on the memorial itself for those shoots?
There were roped off stairways on either side of the main steps. The Park Service personnel kept a brisk traffic going both up and down. Most people were like us and only wanted to stay awhile for pictures and then came back down, opening up space for others.
What a considerate, polite, well-mannered crowd! But then we all knew that, didn't we?
