you did a fabulous job with the pictures. my 16 yo daughter and i were there, but it is so cool to see the photos of all the people i couldn’t see, but heard loud and clear.

I arranged to be at a cable TV this morning and saw virtually nothing—CNN tried to play up the Sharpton rally as superior. They had the intro part of Palin’s speech. Some guy taking photos planted himself in front of the CNN camera and obliterated the view of Sarah. CNN cut out to talk about Sharpton some more at his little gathering at the high school.
Too bad M. L. King’s niece and the other speakers, and the honored guests got scant coverage.
Fox had nothing, unless they stuck snippets in the on-hour newsbreaks.
ABC Radio, 6 p.m.: M. L. King’s niece and Sarah Palin held a large rally in Washington on the theme of “Restoring Honor.” There were nice clips of King’s niece’s comments. Then...[With sarcasm]: Elsewhere in Washington rightwing Glenn Beck also held a rally.
I can imagine the servers crashing (used to be switchboards lighting up).
ABC Radio, 8 p.m.: Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin held a rally in Washington before tens of thousands of people. Al Sharpton also held a rally in a different part of town. [No mention of King’s niece at all.]
I would LOVE it if Beck could do a montage of press coverage, giving prominent coverage to the ABC Radio megagaffe.
