FrogDad and I have been in DC since Monday. We've been to The Mall twice,so far. The set is being built, including two large arches with "Restoring Honor" over them.

They were putting up scaffolding down the Mall and hanging big speakers and spots for Jumbotrons.

We took a Moonlight bus tour last night, almost everyone we spoke to was in town for the Rally. One couple, from Texas, said that almost their whole plane was bound for the rally!

Our tour guide was conservative (surprise!) and got cheers and applause for his comments.

A guard at the rally site (last night) said that if you want to be down front, you should probably plan to be there around 5 AM. We don't intend to be there that early, our transpportation (the Metro), doesn't start running until 7 on Saturdays.

Will post some pictures tonight, headed to Mount Vernon this AM and the National Archives after.

My husband and I left Houston this morning on the 10:45 flight. That flight was full, and from talking to people and listening to conversations around us, it was full of people headed for the Restoring Honor rally. Same thing with the hotel we’re staying in - just about everyone we talk to is here for the same reason.

The most impressive aspect has been the numbers of young people who are involved and fully aware of the consequences of this administration as it affects their future.

Can’t wait for tomorrow!

We got in this morning, tons of people on the plane were going to the rally. I went down to the Lincoln Memorial and almost all of the people there were going as well. Tons of patriotic tshirts, pins, etc.

It should be a BLAST!

I started watching the traffic camera at 17th and Constitution Ave around 8:00AM and I can plainly see this is going to be a MEGA event . God Bless Beck and the thousands of patriots who are pulling this off .

C-SPAN will be covering Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial this Saturday, with Sarah Palin among those expected to attend. Coverage begins 10amET.

Beck was on the Mall again today (above) taking another walk-through in preparation for Saturday.

Posting live from the reflecting pool ... I took the red line in from Rockville a little after 7 this morning (first train of the day). It was packed. Here on the mall it is very crowded, it is difficult to walk on the path around the reflecting pool. There must be at least 400 people here (jk). My girls and their friend are super excited. Music just started play, “Let it Be”, and now “Amazing Grace” on bag pipes. The crowd is going wild.
