Robert K. Dornan tried to raise the issue too late, in 1997, and Republican House members rebuffed him. Similarly, Woody Jenkins of LA did so the same year, and Trent Lott rebuffed Jenkins in favor of his “friend” Landrieu.

I understand what you mean about McCain, and I don’t like it any better than you do, but I understand and forgive Sarah’s endorsement, this time.

She had a debt, she paid it. At a certain level of politics, those things are important and have to be honored. Besides, the entire universe, including a lot of FReepers would have crucified her if she had endorsed JD. Like it or not, it was McCain’s selection of her as his running mate that gave her a national presence and the clout to go with it.

But as far as I am concerned, that’s ALL she owes him and she needs to make that clear to the people who support her, if she wants him to KEEP supporting her, that is.

Joe Miller Fires A Shot In Alaska

The NRSC has sent its top lawyer to Alaska on Lisa Murkowski’s behalf and Joe Miller went on Fox today to point out the NRSC is inappropriately meddling in the race now, even though Murkowski is flirting with an independent or write-in bid.

Well, I’ve just received a copy of a letter (PDF) from Miller’s attorneys demanding the disqualification of Lisa Murkowski campaign observer Bonnie Jack.

The Alaska Division of Elections staff and Joe Miller’s staff observed Ms. Jack using confidential voter information and then calling a voter based on that information. The Miller team wants Ms. Jack disqualified.

-- - - - - - - - ................And you were saying exacly what about Mr. Miller keeping his concerns to himself?...................

” However I don’t think that Mr. Miller helps himself with these statements. He should have keep his concerns private while looking for help in making sure that the results are counted fairly.”

I disagree. We NEED politicians who are going to open their mouths about the lies, cheating and attempt to destroy the country that’s going on in the democrat party - not ones who are going to hide under their desks. This kind of thing will make him very popular with the people. To hell with what those vermin in Congress think of him.

What?

Yeah, look how successful Coleman's strategy of roll over and play nice was in his election.

The GOP needs to tell her, its over

Yep; not only that, it should tell her to graciously concede once all the votes are counted, and prepare to go against Begich (D) in 2014.

The bottom line is that GOP Congressional committee is willing to expend resources to keep Murkowski and were not as willing to expend resources in a general election that seated Franken. Their stepping into this primary may have major implications in the November election. The result is that a large part of the now energized voting public will be disillusioned enough to let the Dems have the whole country. I for one do not hold the Senate Republicans in high esteem. We want our party back and the RINO’s OUT!

If Murkowski doesn’t concede she will absolutely lose whatever reaming support she did have, and its not much, here in Alaska people are just plain pissed off that she has become so anti-republican they are darn near ready to storm Lowes for roofing cement and Walmart for chinese fake feather pillows.

I think she is getting a lot of support from the democratic party on this, the truth will eventually come out, this is Alaska and not the lower 48, we tend to do pretty good law enforcing still.

The corruption and “insider clubs” in Alaska would put Chicago to shame. Palin talks about it allot in her book.

The Murkowski’s are very much a part of that insiders club - and she will not go down without trying something underhanded to stay in power, and she will have help from others in that club. And some members live and work today in D.C.

I agree. He is leading and the only thing Murkowski could do it steal votes.

Problem with this strategy is if she wins, the RATS will use it against Republicans in every close race.

I can see the Times Headline on Wednesday morning, “Massive Vote Stealing by Republicans Throws Elections into Turmoil. President Obama nullifies all Election Results for Protection of the Republic.”

It’s not a matter of someone else “Pulling an Al Franken”... it’s about Joe Miller NOT pulling a Norm Coleman and rolling over playing dead.

She will not concede. She is trying to get on the Libertarian ticket. It is always the same thing with Rino’s.

I I lived in Alaska and Lisa Murkowski steals this election from Joe Miller, SHE WOULD NEVER GET MY VOTE! If she steals this primary, she is effectively giving the seat to the Rat. I hope the Republican establishment realizes this.

More like the RNC trying to hold a “coronation”. How ever the count comes out, My bet is Miller wins, the RNC will bless him and say go and sin no more my son. WATCH.

If the Republicans goal is to depress their base and steal defeat from the jaws of victory, then by all means, they should do whatever is necessary to steal this seat for the RINO Murkowski. That will insure a Rat win of this seat, and most likely effect the outcome of other close races as well. The John McCaining of the GOP continues.
