LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Teen mom Bristol Palin, the unwed daughter of conservative powerbroker Sarah Palin, will join the new season's lineup of "Dancing with the Stars" next month, a news report said on Thursday.
Palin, 19, would follow in the reality TV footsteps of her former fiance, Levi Johnston, whose small-screen adventure involves running for political office in Alaska.
The 11th season of "Dancing with the Stars" is set to premiere on September 20 on ABC. The network declined to comment on E! Online's Palin report, saying the lineup would be officially announced next Monday.
Palin last month made a guest appearance as herself on sibling cable network ABC Family's teen drama, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

No..I don’t care...I will say this one more time..”If I were in the public eye in such a high profile way as Sarah Palin is, I WOULD NOT ALLOW MY CHILD TO BE USED BY THE MEDIA FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY.” That is my last word on it.
And, just how would you stop a 19 year old, mother, living on her own from mapping out her own life? You couldn’t. Would you lock her in a closet until after 2012? Put iron chains on her?
This is ridiculous. You can’t tell someone else what to do, regardless of whether its your own child or not. Sounds like some little tyrants here on FR.
This is MY last word.
Oh, really? If Sarah and Todd sat down with her and asked her not to do it, you are saying that she’s that much of a bitch that she’d go against her Mother and Father? Please. And please don’t anyone here tell me that Sarah is not helping her financially. It’s ridiculous even to entertain that thought. Of course she is.
And, you have proof of this how? People shouldn’t make stupid remarks when they have no proof. Sarah and Todd may have talked with her, but, ultimately, its Bristol’s decision. They may not agree, but, will support her, as any parent does with a child they love - even when you think that child is making a mistake.
And, quite frankly, its none of your business what they do, now is it? Nope, didn’t think so. Do you have kids? If so, they must hate having a parent who is a dictator.
You honestly don’t think that Sarah Palin, being a multi-millionaire, is helping out her daughter who is a single mother? That wouldn’t say much about Sarah and Todd.
