Republicans, independents and conservative demorats support Rubio. Rubio, in the latest poll, has an 8 point lead over Crist and double digit over Meek. With Meek winning, the demorats who may have voted for Crist, due to their dislike for Greene, will tow the party line and support Meek. Thus eliminating the wedge issue Crist was hoping for in his run as a party traitor.
Also it has been hypothesized that Obamai’s Islamic slant has turned the Jewish population off, relating to demorats, and a good portion will vote for Rubio.
