Yes, our pols are expected to be civil and to be graceful losers. For years I wore (and still own) a ‘SoreLoserman’ t-shirt. Hate to see that on our side. And, hell, even Gore gave a concession speech and wished “W” well.

On the Senate floor, do you REALLY think that Jeff Sessions means it when he refers to “my good friend from Vermont” ??? Shall we dispense with addressing ‘the honorable gentlewoman from CA?” Call it hypocrisy or anything you wish, but it maintains at least the veneer of civility. Without that, what are we ?

I ‘get’ the hatred for McCain, but that is not the issue here. The issue here is about J.D. Hayworth’s civility and political sportsmanship, and so far he disappoints.
