It doesn’t seem doubtful to me that if Palin had endorsed Hayworth instead of McCain, John Judas would now be facing several months as a lameduck Senator instead of six more years of betraying conservatism.
But that would have required a courageous, principled stand instead of mere personal political ambition.

Exactly. And these insipid, mewling Palinistas can't have it both ways, they can't say that their heroine makes such a big difference in whatever race she pokes her proboscis into, and then try to say that it "didn't make any difference in Arizona" when it most certainly did. They, like their idol are spinners and dissemblers.

You mean the kind of personal political ambition that would motivate a certain undeclared presidential candidate, after months and months of her followers urging everyone to donate to HER political action committee, to suddenly begin sending money to the GOP-RNC again, because she has flip-flopped and chosen to help Michael Steele and the rest of the establishment RINOs that her acolytes used to rail against?
