I'd rather have a freshman Democrat voting with the Democrats than a Republican in leadership voting with the Democrats. One gives the Democrats a hell of a lot of 'bipartisan' cover. The other doesn't. If the Senator for Arizona is going to be voting with the Democrats either way, then let him own the label.

Well McCain seems to a lock to win anyways so it would be good to have a independent Tea Party person for conservatives. I just don’t see how anybody conservative would vote McCain. I’ll take anybody against McCain. But that is me and I am not in Arizona. I’m stuck in a state just as bad. Kansas his in the same boat of electing Rinos.
