Arizona has open primaries. Anyone can vote in any party’s primary election.

The party member break down in Arizona is fairly even between Repubs, Dems and Indies.

If you look at the actual vote breakdown from yesterday you get 500,000 for McCaint and 246,000 for JD.

There are about 1 million registered Repubs with a 24% turnout and you get many dems and indies voting in the repub primary skewing the result in favor of McCaint.

It is time to close the primaries in Arizona

Arizona has open primaries.

It does not.

Unaffiliated voters can vote either Republican or Democratic but a registered Democrat cannot cross over.

How you gonna do that, when the Republican Party is controlled by McCain Republicans?
