If the Tea Party candidate can't win the Republican primary, they have no hope in the general election. I did NOT see this one coming. You can't get more establishment than McCain ... wow. This crap does not bode well for November.

LOL, you roll over easy, don't you?

McCain spent $20,000,000 to win a PRIMARY! JD only spent $2,500,000. That means that it cost McCain $57.00 per vote, and JD only $7.00. McCain had to BUY his seat, and had to lie like crazy and convince people he was actually a conservative. It was worth JD losing just to watch McCain crawl on his belly to keep his seat.

It is just one race. If TEA party candidates do not win, it’s because you people do not show up to vote. We need to keep working on behalf of the right candidates and not give up. It’s appalling to read all the crying and whining on this thread. It’s like reading a thread at DU.

You were saying ...

I did NOT see this one coming.

If you didn't see this one coming, then it would pay to brush up on your political perception skills ... :-)

You did not see this coming? I don't understand that at all. Everyone knew McCain was going to win - he had the money, he aggressively pummeled JD, he was ahead in the polls by huge margins and finally, JD, while likeable was not the strongest candidate.

I hesitate to make light of one comment, but you must have been out of the country for a long long time to not have known McCain was winning big. Please keep up with the news better. We all need to be informed.
