“I remember he was a congressman from Arizona and he was voted out of there after only 1 term wasn’t he? Why?”
1. J.D. got caught up in the Abramoff scandal. Although the investigators finally had to admit they had zero case against him, it left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths.
2. He was in longer than one term, as I recall, but in the end he got his district gerrymandered out from under him. When they redrew the lines, he lost most of his stalwart GOP constituencies and got stuck with the campus of Arizona State(ist) University into the bargain.
3. In case you can’t tell from today’s election results, we’re all a bunch of f___ing idiots down here. That may also have been a factor.
Nope, we are not all a bunch of f___ing idiots.
All it means is this country is mostly CENTER-RIGHT.
And not super-RIGHT as most here wish. FR is very small
compared to number of voters out there.
