The only downside to the aftermath of November is the fact Democrats have 3 pieces of legislation in the queue to cram down our throats during the lame duck session of Congress: Card check, crap and tax, and immigration. I think at this point, McCain is likely to vote for all three.
I fear you are correct.
Mrs. Lindsey McCain will be trying to pull him that way, but he’s beholden to Governor Brewer on immigration, and he’d better not touch kneecap and tax or card check in the lame duck session.
The lame stream is already hard at work with several articles of “get back to maverick” etc.
The old fossil will eventually fall for it, the only questions are “when and how quickly?”
AZ voters will have to ride his sorry arse with phone calls and email for the next 2 years.
Hugh Hewitt had a wonk on last week that said the following....
If the Senatorial Victories are big enough and stunning those still in office up in 2 years will say no-mas...
Rick Santorum noted on Bill Bennett's show last week that 3 or 4 Senatorial races are replacements and will be sworn in real soon, within days or weeks of the elections. If we run the table and take all we eliminate their ability to have a lock on Cloture.
Things are looking up...
