NK could suddenly fall apart like a rice paper house in a typhoon.

Neither China nor South Korea want that, so I'm sure secretly they both have a joint contingency plan should that happen.

“NK could suddenly fall apart like a rice paper house in a typhoon.”

Short of a full on frontal assault by the NORKs, the collapse of NK is probably the single biggest fear for S. Korea, China and all of Asia. Power grabs by different military factions, refugee issues, etc.

I kind of doubt it. China props up Kim. In fact, I wonder if North Korea’s recent troublemaking might actually be influenced and/or encouraged by China- just to test how the world will react. Of course, I could be dead wrong; its just a guess. Thoughts?
