Hasn’t someone pointed out that when on a suicide mission for the faith all rules are suspended?

Technically no. The way I understand it, the rules still apply and the “sins” still count up to the moment the jihadi dies “in defense of Islam”, at which point he becomes a “martyr” and all his/her previous sins are forgiven and he is granted a special place in Paradise.

I guess that means if a suicide bomber parties down with hookers and pork the night before, straps on his suicide belt and gets hit on the head by a falling flowerpot on his way to the subway station he planned to bomb, he will wake up in Hell because he was not a martyr at the time of his death.
