McCain wants to ride her popularity with conservatives right now. It’s as simple as that. I heard only 25 people showed up for the breakfast fundraiser on Sunday in Havasu. Can you imagine? McCain and Brewer and only 25 people were there!

Only 25 at a breakfast for McCain? That's not a good omen. We all know that *ahem* older folks (and I can say this because I am one) get up early and I've heard a lot of his support if from older voters.
If they won't turn out for him then maybe he's in trouble!
