TUCSON, Ariz. No one will ever accuse Jesse Kelly of bringing weak tea to the party.
The conservative 29-year-old Marine combat veteran and tea party favorite made waves this week when a video of him criticizing Sarah Palin's endorsements of "people who will sell our principles down the river" surfaced and caused a stir.
The brief moment of national notoriety notwithstanding, Kelly is surging at the end of the 8th District GOP primary campaign here, largely on the strength of an impressive grassroots organization and a cocky, free-wheeling style that contrasts sharply with that of the more measured, more disciplined former state Sen. Jonathan Paton...........
"Believe me, if my goal was to get on the Armed Services Committee, or Ways and Means or any of these other great committees you need to be on, then we'd be in a lot of trouble," he said. "My goal is to have my country back and to have a government that leaves me the hell alone and I don't want anything else. And I'm not there for the next cocktail party, and I'm not there to make a bunch of friends. I'm not there to go along with liberalism. I'm there to fight liberalism. That's what I'm going there to do."

Interesting article at the Tuscon Citizen:
“...Jonathan Patons backers may look to somehow secure an early endorsement. Or at least strongly entice one. Senator McCains campaign is very confident of their win and is in idle, they could easily attempt a sway for Paton. Many McCain supporters (money wise) support Jonathan Paton. And that strong enticement to Sarah PAC might squeak an endorsement from her...”

Waiting for the Palin Kook-Aid drinkers to accuse the combat-vet Marine of being a RINO/McRomney supporter.....He has already been labeled "Conan Cickyobutt" by one of her followers.

McCain is the POS that gave us Obama but without him our greatest hope (as of now) to stop the Barry/Nancy/Hank fascist takeover of the USA would still be signing laws to prevent Sea Otter harassment by over playful Eskimo teenagers instead of terrorizing the very souls of the evil international Left as she is doing now.
I will allow the lovely Gov a few shortcomings...will you?

You think that McCain is the "...greatest hope (as of now) to stop the Barry/Nancy/Hank fascist takeover of the USA..."?
What the heck ya got in that Kool-Aid?

I didn't say Conan was a RINO nor a Mittbot.
Just a shrewd and cynical politician who sold a little of his soul for the “greater” good of conservatism.
As a former Navy Airman I know from experience that Marines are jarhead buttheads but I have never doubt their courage and patriotism.
Perhaps Mr Kelly is not so perfect either?

Man,that graphic is as old as Windows 2000.
Can’t you Palin haters come up with something new?

Have you actually talked to Jesse? Mrs. Submareener and I have and he is the real thing. Actually tells you what he thinks, and why. For example. He says a law or amendment to “balance the budget” is not a good think because it would require higher taxes if spending continued. Instead he says that a law or amendment to limit spending is what we need. He also actually mentions the Constitution and knows what is in it. Definitely NOT Scott Brown.

Is understanding English composition something you need remedial training at?
Or are you a Mo Dowd who edits facts into lies?
Did you read your post before you posted?

Endorsing McCain isn’t going to save America from Obama. McCain isn’t going to save America from Obama. McCain’s victory will further empower Obama.
Be careful not to spill any Kool-Aid on your pompoms.

Before the PC Navy there was a friendly rivalry between Marines and sailors...
I'm surprised you are unaware of this...and a little sad.

Are you by any chance related to pissant?
Only explanation I can see for your obtuseness. Wasting my time here it seems.
To: Happy Rain
Are you by any chance related to pissant? No, tpaine, I'm not related to pissant.
BTW, do you support McCain as much as Paton and Palin do?
