"In a related story, a new Southern Heritage memorabilia shop will soon open adjacent to this Woolworths in Greensboro."
I'm sure the AP would have no additional hyperbole in thier coverage of story like this fictitious one.

So little comment has been seen on the grotesque attempts to whitewash the name "Cordoba" as though it stands for some model of inter-faith harmony. As usual, the Islamic paradise of Cordoba and "Andalusia" came about by bloody conquest and ruthless repression. The fact that Shariah then allows a concept of "dhimmi" for a very unequal kind multi-faith society of Islamic dominance does nothing to make the name "Cordoba" resonate with any justice and humanity: [from a popular website encylopedia which beings with a 'W']
"The Martyrs of Córdoba were forty-eight Christian martyrs living in the 9th century Muslim-ruled Al-Andalus, in what is now southern Spain; their hagiography describes in detail their executions for capital violations of Muslim law in Al-Andalus. The martyrdoms instanced by Eulogius took place between 851 and 859; with few exceptions, the Christians invited execution by publicly stating their faith/beliefs: some martyrs appeared before the Muslim authorities to denounce Muhammad; others, Christian children of Islamic-Christian marriages, publicly proclaimed their Christianity"
