Like muslims who insist that we created the climate that brought 9/11 down on our heads, blacks have commented that rioting, looting, etc. is perfectly justified.
Never in a million years would I suggest that assaulting innocent blacks in their neighborhoods is fine since they have rioted in the past or shot up their own neighbors.
Would I want to go into Patterson NJ and blow up a couple of mosques because they were dancing and cheering in the streets on 9/11.
Either we are part of a civilized community or we aren’t. There is no middle ground. We can’t stand by and watch atrocities being committed by others and think it’s fine as long as we ourselves are not participating.
It’s doubtful that fellow executives in my previous company would take part in looting or rioting but them seemed fine with watching.
