Exactly — 35 years in the corporate world gave me a close-up view of how ‘educated, well off blacks’ coexist in the office setting.

I actually heard one black executive telling a white colleague that when not at work, he was an entirely different person; different lingo, different accent — everything. The black man said he would not dare use his office persona on his real friends and relatives in his own community.
