One of my all time favorite novels, in a perfect world all of our entrenched corrupt politicians, 'Rats and RINOs alike, would end up like Porky Logan. ;)

It's my understanding that Mt Dora was the model for 'Ft Repose' in Alas Babylon, and it broke my heart when Randy had to donate the copper fuel lines out of his Bonneville so a moonshine still could be constructed, lol

The little town is/was Zellwood, the “big town” was Mount Dora. Author lived in Zellwood.
