I wonder if the renos were approved in November/December 2008....just for the new occupant.
I don’t know when the renos were approved. I do know the Home of the Commandant of the Marine Corps at 8th and I streets in DC which is said to be the oldest building still occupied in DC is going to start having renos this fall so I suppose this has been in the works for some time and the reasons for the work are the aged pipes etc not unlike the WH renos.Maybe this will curtail some of the massive Wed parties these fools host.
