This is the old, soft progressive/conservative tap dance I expect from the Huckster. This is a hot button issue now that we have found that 1 out of 12 babies born are anchor babies. Just more reason to disregard this daytime talk host.
We didn’t find that out. We found out that one in eight babies born here has AT LEAST ONE illegal parent. That means the other parent could have been a citizen so the study was meaningless.
On another point: El Paso, Texas is 78% Hispanic. Yesterday the El Paso Times ran an on line poll on this subject, and 60% favored changing the laws on anchor babies.
