Now wait a minute. I can’t agree with most of the posters on this thread. Our country was founded on the basis of freedom to pursue happiness. That really cannot be done without a job. I don’t know what I would do if I lost mine.

A job is something that someone pays you to do. Noone has a right to something of someone elses. The woman has every right to work. What she wants is someone to pay her. That isn’t a right.

That's a matter of opinion. If your happiness hinges on your job, you really ought to look at your priorities.

That aside, your, ummm, reasoning there is quite a stretch. It doesn't logically go to follow that your right to pursue happiness must be funded or provided by the government, or anyone else from whom you are demanding money.
