Pentagon: Undisclosed Wikileaks documents 'potentially more explosive'

Pentagon officials believe they have identified the 15,000 classified Afghanistan war documents that the online site WikiLeaks has obtained and not yet disclosed, and the military is now sifting through them for references that could harm troops or civilians.

The records at issue contain material that is "potentially more explosive, more sensitive," Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell said, than the information in the 77,000 Afghanistan field reports and assessments WikiLeaks put online last month in an effort to shed light on the U.S. military's war in Afghanistan.

A task force of more than 100 intelligence analysts have been sifting "around the clock" through all 91,000 records, looking for hundreds of key words, including the names of Afghan citizens, mosques and allies, in an effort to evaluate the danger caused by exposure, Morrell said. "We have found many instances in which our allies or their forces are mentioned in these documents," and the U.S. military has then notified them as the case warrants, he said.

WikiLeaks posted the Afghan War Diaries in a database 17 days ago.

"We have yet to see any harm come to anyone in Afghanistan that we can directly tie to exposure in the WikiLeaks documents," Morrell said. But, he asserted, "there is in all likelihood a lag between exposure of these documents and jeopardy in the field."

Some of the comments in support of the leaks are unbelievable. I guess there are many idiots out there who have swallowed the liberal claptrap that the Marxist elite have been feeding them for the last 40 years.

I ask myself, what would Putin do if this was a Russian leak?

Better yet, what would the Soviet Union have done? They did not have these problems as much because they would track down the perps and kill them if possible. The US would not even consider such a thing and not because we are better, but because we have allowed subversives enough power to tie our hands.

Time for the Israeli Mossad to snatch the documents, maybe set Wikileaks on fire to cover the theft, make it look like the fire was started by faulty electrical or a careless smoker.

Just a little favor for the U.S. so the U.S. can be reminded when Israel needs them that the U.S. OWEs Israel big time.

Interesting that the little drama queen that committed this treasonous act has dropped off of the front page and isn't even mentioned here.

Could it be because this whole story refutes the meme that "gays are just normal, patriotic Americans that want to serve their country" instead of what they actually are; maladjusted, mentally ill deviants that will destroy the greatest Military the world has ever seen.
