The variance is just absurd. Part of it might come from this being the season where so many take vacation and are away, but the swings are just silly. A 12 point shift over 3 days???
In any event, don't read too much into today's swing. Just follow the trend.
Agree on trend is far more relevant. After 3 qtrs of undergrad stats + 2 qtrs of grad stats, I always take polls with a HUGE grain of salt and focus more on long term consistency.
