Right. Weren’t we #2 in the last one? I guess we owe Fred for those 8 spots since this one weighted unemployment more.

That’s kind of funny, because Tulsa is rather square, with streets marking off square-mile sections, although not iconically square like Oklahoma City. I rarely got on the interstate when we lived in Tulsa, because you could get where you were going on surface roads, three east-four north and so on.

Many people in the Gulf states have lost their jobs because of the oil spill and the others.....Obama has shutdown drilling in the Gulf...for no good reason!
Obama has an agenda for the states states that did not vote for him...hurt them! He's a vindictive little jerk!

Yes, carry-in is the same as potluck or covered-dish supper. Popular at church events. Thanks for the information. For what it is worth, the one reference I found on the net was indeed to a church event in Indiana.
The PDF is at APRIL 2010 NEWS & NOTES FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH; the term is used on page 4 with the entry for April 1st.

See, it’s Indiana. I’m from Missouri originally, and I was using the local term!

I agree with your list more than the BS one in the article.

Ten best small cities to live:
No. 4: Bellevue, Wash. Blew it right there. No credibility.

I was told that all the fast food chains test-market in OKC; I know I saw an awful lot of fast food places when I was there...
Positive feedback loop?

Amen brother. But if it can keep the dang California libs from moving in and screwing our town up then the rating is worth it. I don’t care what some organization calls me, just so long as it leaves me alone.
