Will Kate Gosselin hurt Sarah Palin's political career when the two moms appear together on Palin's new TLC show in November?
Slideshows: Palin's Changing Looks | Two Years Of Kates Changing Looks
As silly as that sounds, the pundits are starting to talk after TLC announced late Friday that Gosselin would appear on "Sarah Palin's Alaska" sometime in November, after the fall general elections.
Palin is a presumptive presidential candidate for 2012 and has already released one video that appears to be a campaign advertisement.
In the time before the 2012 election, Palin is writing books, doing the TLC series and appearing on Fox News as a contributor.
But does an extended photo of with a reality TV star who is a magnet for the paparazzi and bad press the best decision for Palin.

Thinking people who aren’t concerned with pop culture won’t pay any attention to stuff like this.
Why would Hunter know or care what I think of Palin?
I’ll judge her on hanging out with that no-class reality show bimbo. It’s not like she doesn’t have enough Jerry Springer material in her own life.
Just like “The View” is a TV show. Yet Obama was criticized for that. This is several times trashier.
What a stupid idea this was for Palin. She may as well have done a film hanging out with the Octomom.
What is she crazy? Gosselin? Are you nuts?
Maybe she can do an interview with John and Lorena Bobbitt for Jerry Springer next.
Jeesh, she really changed my opinion of her. When I first heard the report, I thought it was satire.
Sure a lot of people dont like Kate, but the size of her fan club is seriously underappreciated. Lots of people love her.
Oh I'm so sure.
What about pictures of 10% unemployment, illegals crossing the border, death panels, trillion dollar deficits and two ugly Marxist broads in black robes?
Geez!
Another one.
Our nation is in serious jeopardy. Our liberties are being systematically denied by an out-of-control Federal government led by an Administration filled with socialist ideologues. I believe we need a leader whose interests do not extend to celebrity, but instead to the promotion of clearly-expressed ideas and unshakable principles.
I like Sarah Palin as a person. I think she is brighter than many people realize, has a good heart, loves her country, and would be an improvement over Barack Obama as President. But so would almost any Republican. Facing down Obama and the multi-billion dollar Soros/Union Democrat machine will require both serious intellectual weight and a will of steel.
I also believe that victory will likely require a new face untainted by exposure to the GOP "leadership" of the recent past, which has not exactly covered itself in glory. That includes both John McCain and George Bush, whom the Democrats are going to run against once again, if they can (and probably even if they cannot).
Obama is an intellectual lightweight who pretends (with daily assistance from his "media" cheer squad) to be a wise leader. Sarah Palin is honest, but not an intellectual powerhouse, either. And that is what we're going to need to defeat the unprecedented assault that is coming for whoever the GOP nominee ends up being. And trust me - I know these people - what they will try to do to that nominee will be uglier, nastier, and dirtier than anything you can imagine, especially if the Democrats suffer large Congressional losses this year. Only the strong and serious will survive.
Sarah and Kate for 2012!
LOL!
Did you have a problem with Rabscuttle working against McCain-Palin the last three years? Did that turn everyone off?
Free speech and all that.
It’s always the women who suffer palin-envy...
Kate Gosselin is a prime example of how fame can ruin the weak. She is nuttier that squirrel turds..

Hahahaha. You actually wrote that?
Sheez . . . I like what Sarah has to say but . . . KATE????? THAT seems just crazy to me. I am afraid this family is beginning to have WAY too much drama and will sink like a rock.
I always liked her REALITY . . . but not reality TV.
I bet she was nuts before she became famous.
JMO.
