From the article:

“”A White House source told me that Blanchard’s father passed away and Mrs. Obama was not able to make the funeral at the beginning of July. Blanchard had promised her daughter she would take her to Spain for her birthday. She asked Mrs. Obama and Sasha to come with.””

White House source? Axelrod or who?

The OB/GYN is the one who asked obozo’s wife to accompany her on the trip so how did we get stuck with the bill?

Again according to the article, supposedly those making the trip were 3 women (including obozo’s wife) with 4 daughters, 6 WH staffers, 2 East Wing staffers, 1 Chief of Staff, 1 personal assistant, 3 shifts of Secret Service (how many in a shift)...then there’s the air crew, drivers of the SUV’s which must be Secret Service.....does this account for 60 rooms - 1/2 of the available rooms at the hotel?

From looking at the many pictures posted of the “walking/shopping tour” etc., I don’t see anyone in the group who resembles a professional - like an OB/GYN.....some women with scowls on their faces! No sign of other kids except one going into the water with Sasha at the roped off beach. Perhaps the other daughters were older, who knows?

The whole thing stinks!

Couldn’t Michelle just send flowers to her bereaved friend?

And I may be wrong—but doesn’t etiquette dictate that when someone “invites” you on a vacation, they pay the bill?

This is plain old horseshit from The East Wing!

They are lousy liars.
