I know that. I’ll ask again. Should a Boy Scout, who should be an exemplar of that internal character as codified by the Boy Scout Handbook and shown through his actions, show reverence to a leader who is the antithesis of the Boy Scout Handbook?

Should a Boy Scout show reverence to a Renegade (that’s the Secret Service name for that impostor POSOTUS) who has no respect for the Boy Scout organization or the Godly ideals that each Scout strives to imbue into their soul and taught by the Boy Scout leadership? Is this wannabe Prez worthy of any respect based on who he is, who his friends and allies are, his ideals, and his goal of destroying this country? Should Boy Scouts respect an individual who is in the process of destroying this country as fast as he can with the help of his Leftist cronies and thugs?

Should a Boy Scout respect those who promote evil?

Reverence is toward God, not an individual.

As defined by BSA:
A Scout is reverent toward God. He is faithful in his religious duties. He respects the beliefs of others.

Is the Obama worthy of my respect? No. He is all the things that you say he is.

Would I BOO him while in my Scouter uniform? No, due to my respect for Scouting.

If I am OK to BOO him, why not throw a tomato, why not throw a rock, why not run up on stage and assault him?

A Scout is Obedient.
A Scout follows the rules of his family, school, and troop. He obeys the laws of his community and country. If he thinks these rules and laws are unfair, he tries to have them changed in an orderly manner rather than disobeying them.

If the ideals of Scouting can not be reconciled with your view of respecting the Office of the President, perhaps you should not support the BSA.
