Are you suggesting there is a non-partisan way to display the mechanisms graphically?

There are any number of ways of describing laws and legislation. Sorry if it sounded too critical of the GOP, to point out that their chart was meant to cause alarm and revulsion to a bill they oppose, and rightly so. I was just pointing out their intent, not criticizing it. We should be disgusted by the mess that came out of the partisan process.

My 2 cents: This could have been avoided if some of the abuses of the health insurance industry were addressed when the GOP had control. Same for financial reform. Both parties are unfortunately, largely in the hands of politicians, not statesmen.

I see where you were headed with your comments. Thing is, the Dems this term have a majority far in excess of anything the Reps had and whatever majority they started with steadily eroded. All signs for them pointed to ‘BE CAREFUL’. The exact opposite has been true since Jan. 2009 for the Dems. To them, the signs as they first appeared were ‘FULL STEAM AHEAD!!’. So they launched. I don’t doubt that Reps are happy to make partisan stew of the dog’s breakfast the Dems have cooked up, but I heartily endorse every clear statement that points out how badly we’ve been had, so that those who pay little attention (or have attention spans too short to permit actually being educated or informed) can be shocked, as they should be, and now, before the election, where the dhimmies in the center will make all the difference.
