Not a sexist remark, just stupid and childish. Palin is a lightweight.

How I long for leaders with dignity! Ronald Reagan, we really miss you.

Yup, because Reagan was all worried about being PC, too.

Give me - and your PDS - a break!

PS You were probably offended by Wilson’s “you lie” comment, too, eh? Can’t offend the libs...

We’ve had a couple GOP Presidents with dignity since Reagan. Now we need a few with brass knuckles.

30 years ago was an eternity. We are living in a totally different world.

No, it's about time someone in the GOP got tough with Obama, especially with the way he's treating the state of Arizona. Palin a "lightweight"? I'm going to let you in on a secret. Hopefully it will penetrate your anti-Palin defense mechanism. Sarah Palin WILL be the next POTUS. You can accept that fact now or be drug to this simple truth inch by inch, day by day.

Do you mean like when Reagan had Nancy give him answers for press questions? Or like when Reagan jokingly announced into a live mic "the bombing of Russia will now begin!"? Reagan is one of our greatest Presidents, but let's not pretend he never had an off moment, and I certainly don't think Palin's "cajones" commment was an off moment.

I have never seen any one get inside the head of the competition like Palin has done to Obama.

Even during the 2008 campaign Obama’s handlers were desperately trying to get Obama to stop campaigning against the “VICE” Presidential candidate, Palin drives Obama a little crazy and she plays it brilliantly.

I worked for President Reagan and I see so many similarities with Governor Palin that I could go on for days. President Reagan didn't have to put up with Chris Matthews, Journ-o-list, Keith Olbermann, ten thousand bloggers, tabloids, Perez Hilton, Kathy Griffin and all that kind of trash. She's in a different era and arena than the 20th Century.

Are you talking about the same Ronald Reagan who said, “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican”?

We can debate about the cows come home whether or not her comments were appropriate. I can understand why many feel they were not.

However, many (including myself) find them refreshing, particularly given the context in which she spoke them.

She was addressing the failures of the Democrat administration. Ironically (or perhaps not), she used a Spanish term to describe the failure to address a problem we actually have.

It wasn’t sexist, it was a breath of fresh air. And memorable.

go Sarah!

FWIW, given voter fraud, etc., my vote may not count, but Mrs. Palin’s got my absentee ballot in 2012, should she choose to run.

Perhaps we’ll visit Colorado in the fall that year—always loved to hear the elks bugling. ;)
