Nancy Pelosi told Christiane Amanpour that she was “not nervous at all”

If Nancy says she isn't, she is!

And so far, Mass. isn’t working out that well.

You got that right!

Bella is not nervous because she knows around the last week of October “something” (most likely some National Security event) will happen, nobama will “reluctantly” declare martial law and the 11/2 elections will be put off “until later.”

IMHO, given all the national polling that’s available everywhere and the RATS internal polling, which I suspect is really ugly, Bella knows the RATS are in for a first class whipping. So this BS about her not being nervous is a bunch of crap. Unless she knows something we don’t.

You can set the bar low if you’d like.

I’d like someone who is much better at fundraising and not as prone to cramming his foot in his mouth.

I think Sarah Palin would be a much better GOP chair (and I’d rather have her in that position than as a presidential candidate). She’ll have her verbal gaffes, but she’ll get TONS of fundraising support from the tea partiers and moderates alike.

I’m nervous about November. If the Democrats aren’t swept, this nation is finished.

You are forgiven. I am a Detroiter by birth, but I spent five months studying Spanish full time and then spent ten years working in Latin America.

Why would Pelosi be nervous? She’s going to be re-elected.

I’m nervous that even if they are swept out in November the country’s finished.
The GOP has a horrid record of trying to get its party-planks accomplished; in this regard the Democratic Party is worlds more honest, their reasoning is flawed, but they try their damnedest to pass their party-planks.

RE: Why would Pelosi be nervous? She’s going to be re-elected.

She won’t be queen any longer and won’t be two heartbeats away from the Presidency. She also won’t be contributing to global warming by having a tax payer paid jet escorting her around with her family and relatives.

The GOP has more air heads per capita than even seems possible. The only difference is if the Democrats are swept, maybe, just maybe that collection of morons might sense the electorate is a little angry this time.

They won't stop Obama and they won't take the Senate. They can defund everything in the House.

I don't even hold that optimism; I fully expect them to run on "we aren't Democrats!" and as soon as they hit office start handing out KY Jelly and hand-towels for the Circle-Jerk-Fest we call politics in DC.
