This of course supports what the article says... a lot of people think like this which in PRACTICAL EFFECT, means the GOP vote will split effectively ensuring a Democratic victory in a state where they shuold lose.

If the winner is going to be a corrupt liberal, his party affiliation doesnt matter that much. That may be true. It only matters with respect to numbers and controlling an agenda. In a way I wonder if it would be better if the GOP did NOT control the House after 2010. Then the Dems won't have anybody to blame (the way Clinton did)... of course things will get plenty worse than ObamaCare and Government motors before it gets better if the GOP doesn't take control in 2010.
