Alot of democrats are just ignorant (about many other things also) about the Crawford situation. Since it was run as a western white house everything needed to run the war and the country at large was present. Obama is doing all these photo op tours on the road while being kept under wraps by handlers less he be confronted with a microphone without a Teleprompter. He can still be reached and issue commands in a crisis (which isn’t something we can be sure he would really do sitting in the White House in any event) but it really can’t compare to a the relaxing ranch that was basically a Western-West Wing.
