The showdown over Arizona's immigration law played out in court and on Phoenix's sun-splashed streets on Thursday, as the state sought to reinstate key parts of the measure and angry protesters chanted that they refused to "live in fear." Dozens were arrested.
A federal judge's decision a day earlier to block the strict law's most controversial elements didn't dampen the raging immigration debate.
The judge has been threatened. Protesters rallied in cities from Los Angeles to New York. The sheriff of the state's most populous county vowed to continue targeting illegal immigrants. Lawmakers or candidates in as many as 18 states say they still want to push similar measures.

No one has to “live in fear” if they followed the law.

On cnn last night... Rush said that they were interviewing Sheriff Arpaio and asked him why he thought the Federal Government was blocking enforcement of their own laws. He said, “ Why... I thought everyone knew... the big corporations want the cheap labor and the dimocrats want the Hispanic vote”. Bam... right in the kisser!

Why doesnt the governor just make the law by executive order and have it done with and see what they say.

In February of 1928, Edward H. Dowell, vice-president of the California Federation of Labor, testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Immigration about the burden of the unrestricted flow of Mexicans on the states taxpayers, prisons, hospitals and American workers wages. He estimated that 67,000 Mexicans entered the U.S. legally the prior year, many times that number entered illegally.

Obama is trying to protect people doing something wrong for the sake of winning and staying in power. The oath he took said he would preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. It did not say he would sue to prevent it from being implemented. People who vote for these political prostitutes are not paying attention to what is going on. I can not wait for November to pull some of the weeds out of the garden, so the decent plants can flourish. I can not believe men who are supposed to be enforcing immigration laws are suing to prevent them from being enforced. If people vote for them again, they've got an ulterior motive, given what they have already seen.

Right on! Rush says amnesty is a Democrat voter registration drive...lol!

And the more he pushes the issue the worse it gets for him.
he is pissing off everyone except the most left of the liberals.
he is doing a fine job of uniting the country .. AGAINST HIM.

Which is exactly what Harry Reid has done to NV. Allowed the illegals to work, thereby putting many Americans on unemployment.
Kick the bums out. And start with Harry Reid.
