Not only that, but it’s probably good for the local economy. Illegal in the US will be paying with US dollars anyway, so anyone who uses pesos is probably a tourist or visitor.

I agree! If the store wants to take Russian Rubles, then so be it. It is their decision whether this decision is financially viable for them.
