Sorry, I don’t agree. It is absolutely essential that the demrats do not get the illegal (and felon) vote. Obviously the illegal vote and motor voting are keys to minimizing demrat mid-term losses. If we don’t beat them here the Usurping Marxist Onada and his band of angry commies will have that much more opportunity for mischief.
Not to mention the demoralization of conservative voters. There is nothing to wait for. The fight is already underway for the soul of the country. While conservative candidates wait, the demrats are taking advantage of an uncontested battlefield.
“Sorry, I dont agree.”
With what? That Jan Brewer is quite capable and can hold her own without the assistance of Palin?
Seems to me Jan’s doing OK. The injunction by Judge Bolton is neither a Judicial Finding nor a Decision....merely a time out on 1070s implimentation in order to facilitate complete judicial review before the entire law goes into effect. People are crying wolf, and running about in circles and shouting, when they should be resoluting supporting Az and Governor, by making sure that their own state has a similiar law to Az’s, and writting their Congresscritters, etc......
There are plenty of people in this nation that are upset/angry with the Dems/Federal Government’s handling of the illegal immigration issue. We all know that the end game for them (mostly Dems) is adding these people to their voting column. Grass roots opposition will be the main factor getting action in securing our borders and the removal of our (ahem) neighbors who have broken into our house and are in the process of stealing our possessions.
Sarah Palin is not Joan of Arc, nor should she be. I would rather that she pursue the goal of building a national conservative coalition that will retake congress in 2010, and be ready to right the nation starting Jan 2013. To expect her personally to fight/engage in every battle de jour would detract from that goal, and undermine the longer term goal of un-doing the Usurper’s damage, especially when there are capable people like Gov. Jan Brewer fighting the individual issues with much personal verve......
Your expectation that Palin, a private citizen, is/should be the immediate solution to every problem facing this nation today is unrealistic, and attitudes such as this have led many to reject Palin because of her supporters/detractors that hold/project similiar viewpoints as yours......
“Demoralization of Conservative voters...”
On the contrary, the illegal immigration issue has energized not only Conservatives, but also a large majority of the nation including many moderate Democrats......While it is prudent to keep vigilent eye on this issue, realisticly we will just have to watch as things play out.
If your/our fears become reality, serious consideration on pushing the reset button will be made, and I believe that there are enough people who think it is the only viable option for it to actually happen.......time will tell..... this issue has been festering for much longer than it should have ever been.....
