His job was working as an IT analyst. According to him, he simply downloaded all the data he could get his hands on from a secure server he was working on, and put it on blank DVDs that he had disguised to look like music CDs.
He could easily have downloaded 90,000 docs and vidfiles onto a few DVDs during a single shift.

IT Security in this country is so lax, I wouldn’t be surprized if this is possible at nearly every governmental installation and private companies as well. Having contacts in IT Security, convincing the powers that be that security from internal threats is of at least equal, and in most cases of higher importance, than security from external threats is nearly impossible. Just last night I told a friend that I expect an “IT 911” to happen before anything substantial is done about it.
