And that is just bigotry on the part of many Arizona voters and others. J. D. is originally from North Carolina and his speech and mannerism are southern of an earlier era. I expect few Southerners think he sounds like a used car salesmen. He just has those mannerisms and is something of a throwback. Anti-Southern bigotry, but JD is far more intelligent and lucid than McCain has ever been on the issues.
But nothing explains away the political, bipolar disorder that apparently infests much of the Arizona citizenry. Who could be for their new state law, and still support McCain? Do they know nothing of the weasel's history in the Senate?
The other possibility is even more disturbing: that a majority of Arizona voters actually believe McCain's election year lies and flip/flops.
Don’t blame everyone else but J.D. if the voters don’t “cotten” to him.
Well, nevermind, I guess you’ll blame anyone you choose.
I don’t think they believe McCain. I think they harbor a little bit of hope that he will listen to the Tea Partiers and Republicans who insist on border security and no amnesty.
But they can’t see J.D. as their Senator for 6 yrs, looks like, perhaps...
