The politics threw it out of Berlin because they kept fighting over the clean-up.
My wife walked in the first Loveparade on the Kudamm. She is best friends with the Lady who owned “Summer Love” the official magazine for the Loveparade. They just met with the babies last week although her friend was only babysitting for someone, but calls it “my baby”.
For the record my wife is Far Right - LoL!
Remember Dr. Motte?Yeah, I remember Motte, and the incredibly vapid love-speeches he held on the parades. I wonder how much money he made out of all this. The politics threw it out of Berlin because they kept fighting over the clean-up.
My wife walked in the first Loveparade on the Kudamm.I was there a few times, too, also once when it was on the Kuhdamm already. I am not sure if it was the first time, but one of the first. I do not remember the year, only that it was incredibly hot weather that day.
For the record my wife is Far Right - LoL!The “politics” of the Love Parade always seemed so ridiculously infantile and vapid that it was easy for me to ignore, too. The parties were quite good, especially in the early years. Later on, the crowds consisted less of pretty almost-nekkid girls and more of old drunkards looking for a reason to down a few extra Schultheiss. I didn’t particularly regret it when it ended at last.
